Biography

Robert Robinson Taylor broke barriers as the first African-American graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, then dedicated his career to building schools and college buildings at Tuskegee Institute.

He mentored countless students and colleagues, demonstrating that architecture could be a tool for social progress, a legacy remembered at Pine Forest Cemetery.
