S. J. Higginson

Biography

S. J. Higginson, born in 1840, was known among acquaintances for the steadiness of his presence and the sincerity of his friendships. He lived through tumultuous times with calm determination and a deep respect for those around him.

Now at rest in Green-Wood Cemetery, he is honored for the dignified manner in which he met every challenge and the genuine warmth with which he treated others.
