Sameshima Naonobu

Biography

Sameshima Naonobu (1845–1880) was a Japanese diplomat who served during a pivotal period in Japan's modernization and international relations. His career bridged the gap between traditional Japanese governance and the emerging modern diplomatic corps of the Meiji era.
