Biography
Samuel Dale was born in 1741 and lived through the pivotal years of American independence and the establishment of the new republic. He made his home in Lewisburg, where he was part of the community that helped settle and develop the region during the late eighteenth century.
Dale's sixty-three years of life spanned a period of remarkable change and growth in America. He was interred in Lewisburg Cemetery, where his memory is preserved as part of the local heritage and history of his community.
