Samuel Eccleston

Samuel Eccleston (1801–1851) was a man of faith and prominence in the American Catholic community during the early 19th century. His life was marked by dedication to religious service and leadership within the Church during a formative period for American Catholicism.

He was honored with burial at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Baltimore, one of the most significant Catholic sites in the United States, reflecting his importance to the faith community.
