Biography
Sarah Eliot Perkins (1768–1852) was a woman of the late colonial and early federal periods, living through the American Revolution and the establishment of the new nation. Her long life provided witness to the transformation of American society and culture.
She was laid to rest in Mount Auburn Cemetery, reflecting the respect and regard in which she and her family were held by their community.
