Sheldon Smith

Biography

Sheldon Smith was a resident of his community whose life extended through much of the nineteenth century. Born in 1816, he lived through decades of American expansion and social change, establishing himself as a member of his local society.

Smith passed away in 1868 at the age of fifty-two and was laid to rest at Woodmere Cemetery. His life, though details remain sparse, represents the many individuals who contributed to their communities during this formative period in American history.
