Sigmund Strochlitz, a Holocaust survivor, rebuilt his life in America and became a successful businessman whose moral clarity guided every venture; he also served on boards dedicated to remembrance and human rights, including leadership roles with the United States Holocaust Memorial Council.

He devoted decades to advocating for survivors, ensuring that their stories were preserved through education, scholarship programs, and legislative testimony, so future generations would understand both the horror of the past and the value of vigilance.
