Spencer Clawson

Biography

Spencer Clawson (1852–1916) was a thoughtful citizen of Salt Lake City whose efforts helped strengthen the civic foundations of his hometown. He valued industriousness and fairness, seeking always to lift up the people around him and to foster harmony among diverse neighbors.

He is remembered as someone who met life’s challenges with calm determination, leaving behind loving family and close friends who continue to honor his place in the history of Salt Lake City Cemetery.
