Biography
Stanisław Połczyński was a Polish military officer born in 1894 who served his nation throughout the interwar period. He was part of the professional military corps that worked to establish and maintain Poland's defense capabilities during the years between the two world wars.
Połczyński's service came to an end in 1940 at Katyn, where he was killed alongside thousands of other Polish military personnel. He is commemorated at the Katyn Polish War Cemetery, a place dedicated to honoring those who lost their lives in this historic tragedy.
