Biography
Stefan Dąb-Biernacki devoted his career to the Polish Army, rising through the ranks in the turbulent years after the First World War and taking command during the Polish–Soviet War, where his resilience inspired troops facing overwhelming odds. He continued to serve with distinction through the onset of the Second World War, always mindful of the price of independence.
After the war, he joined the Polish community abroad, offering counsel to younger officers and defending the memory of his homeland with calm dignity.
