Biography

Ted Healy earned renown as a vaudeville performer whose quick wit and musical timing delighted Broadway audiences in the 1920s and 1930s. He is remembered most for putting together the trio of stooges who would become icons of slapstick comedy.

Healy balanced stage comedy with appearances on the silver screen, leaving behind a spirit of laughter that influenced generations of performers. He is interred at Calvary Cemetery.
