Thaddeus C. Pound

Biography

Thaddeus C. Pound (1833–1914) witnessed the great debates that shaped the Civil War era and the slow work of healing that followed, responding with steadfast character and a readiness to uplift neighbors in Forest Hill.

He kept his life quietly rooted in that community, leaving a memory of thoughtful loyalty and now rests at Forest Hill Cemetery among fellow citizens who shared his belief in public responsibility.
