Biography
Thomas B. Cuming (1827–1858) was a young man whose brief life occurred during a period of rapid American expansion and change. Though he lived only thirty-one years, his existence was marked by the dynamic transformations of the mid-nineteenth century.
Cuming's memory is honored at Prospect Hill Cemetery, where he was interred in 1858. Though his time on earth was short, he remains part of the historical tapestry of his community and the generations that preceded him.
