Thomas Ewing

Biography

Thomas Ewing (1789–1871) devoted himself to public service in his state and was counted among the citizens who steered their communities through times of great change. His commitment to the civic sphere was felt in the many decisions and conversations to which he contributed.

When he passed away in 1871, he was buried at Saint Mary Catholic Cemetery, where his memory is preserved among fellow townspeople. He is recalled with appreciation by those who study the quiet determination that marked his career.
