Thomas Parker Sanborn emerged from the Concord literary circle as a sensitive writer whose essays and poems reflected the hopes and anxieties of the late 19th century.

Though his years were few, Sleepy Hollow Cemetery preserves his memory alongside the other Sanborn family members who kept the neighborhood's literary legacy alive.
