Thomas R. Fosdick

Biography

Thomas R. Fosdick was a young man whose life was cut short by his death in 1829 at the age of thirty-two. Born in 1797, he lived during the early decades of the nineteenth century, a time of rapid growth and change in America.

Fosdick's brief life is remembered at Oakland Cemetery, where he was laid to rest. Though his years were few, his memory endures in the records of those who knew him and in the cemetery that preserves his name for future generations.
