Ulrich Wilhelm Graf Schwerin von Schwanenfeld was a German military officer from an aristocratic family with a long tradition of military service. His career unfolded during the turbulent years of the Weimar Republic and the Third Reich, a period that tested the convictions of many in the German officer corps.
He was laid to rest at Waldfriedhof Dahlem in Berlin, his life concluding in 1944 during the final year of World War II.
