Biography
Václav Karban was a Czech individual whose life extended through much of the twentieth century. He witnessed and lived through the major transformations that shaped Czechoslovakia and Central Europe during this era.
Karban's final resting place in Olšany Cemetery reflects his standing in Prague's community throughout his long life.
