Biography
Valerian Polishchuk was born in 1897 and became a writer, participating in the literary culture of the early Soviet period. His work reflected the creative endeavors of his generation during a time of significant social transformation.
In 1937, Polishchuk was executed at Sandarmokh during the Great Purge, joining many other writers and intellectuals whose contributions to culture were cut short by political repression.
