Biography
Vassily Prilejaiev (1831–1887) was a Russian jurist who contributed to the legal and judicial development of nineteenth-century Russia. His career in law reflected the complexities of Russian jurisprudence during a period of significant legal and administrative reform under Alexander II.
Prilejaiev's work as a legal professional represented an important role in Russian society's institutional framework. He was interred at Volkovo Cemetery, where he rests among other distinguished members of Saint Petersburg's professional and intellectual elite.
