Vincenzo Genna

Biography

Vincenzo Genna (1888–1931) journeyed through a period of rapid urban growth, carrying with him the hopes of a new century and the strength of close relationships formed in his neighborhood near Mount Carmel. He embraced the everyday bonds that make a city feel like home, offering help and companionship to those around him.

Now resting at Mount Carmel Cemetery, his story invites reflection on the resilience and quiet dreams held by so many who lived through those years.
