Biography

Vladimir Obolenski was a distinguished Russian military officer who served during a transformative period in Imperial Russian history. Born into the prominent Obolenski nobility in 1865, he dedicated his career to military service and maintained connections with Russian aristocratic circles throughout his life.

Obolenski's military career reflected the traditions and values of the Russian officer corps of his era. He passed away in 1927 and was laid to rest in Batignolles Cemetery in Paris, a final resting place that speaks to the significant Russian émigré community that flourished in France during the early twentieth century.
