Biography
Vlastimil Nesrsta (1928–1998) was a Czech citizen whose adult life unfolded during the communist period and the subsequent transition to democracy. Born in the late 1920s, he came of age during one of the most complex periods in Czech history.
Nesrsta lived through the Prague Spring, the Soviet invasion of 1968, and the Velvet Revolution of 1989, witnessing the profound transformations that reshaped his nation. He was laid to rest at Olšany Cemetery, Prague's venerable burial ground.
