Biography

Walter Quintin Gresham earned distinction as a Union brigadier general and later became a respected judge, postmaster general, and cabinet member in service to several presidents. Renowned for his legal mind and commitment to fairness, he navigated the tumult of Reconstruction with integrity and steadfastness.
