Webb Pierce's honky-tonk baritone rode the airwaves from Texas jukeboxes to the Grand Ole Opry stage, earning him nearly a dozen number-one singles during the 1950s and the admiration of fans who needed no introduction to his golden voice.

His career was marked by classics such as There Stands the Glass and In the Jailhouse Now, and he remained a beloved figure in country music communities until his passing, leaving his final rest at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
