Whitcomb L. Judson, born in 1846, gained recognition as an inventive mind whose curiosity and engineering skill produced solutions to everyday challenges, most notably the early development of what would become the zipper.
He passed in 1909 and was laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery, where the world still benefits from his inventive spirit.
