Biography
William Clamp served as a military personnel with steadfast resolve during the First World War, joining thousands of others in the defense of shared ideals. His time in uniform reflected the commitment of an entire generation who answered the call in the hope of bringing peace to troubled lands.
His final rest is at Tyne Cot Cemetery, a sacred ground for so many who laid down their lives in that conflict. Visitors to the cemetery find in his name a reminder of the valor and selflessness that marked the service of those who fought beside him.
