William James Wallace

Biography

William James Wallace, born in 1837, devoted his professional life to the study and fair administration of the law, serving both in private practice and on the federal bench with a steady temperament.

He brought balance to difficult decisions, guided younger attorneys with patience, and after his retirement returned to Syracuse, now resting at Oakwood Cemetery where his integrity continues to be honored.
