William Jones

Biography

William Jones was born in 1753 and lived through the American Revolution and the establishment of the new nation, dying in 1822 at the age of sixty-nine. His life spanned a transformative era in American history, and he witnessed the birth of the republic and its early development.

Jones was laid to rest in Swan Point Cemetery, a burial ground that served as the final resting place for many notable individuals of his era. His long life allowed him to see the young nation grow and develop during its most formative years.
