Biography
William Reddick emerged as a civic leader whose efforts in business and philanthropy helped meet the needs of a growing Midwestern community in the nineteenth century. Known for his integrity and generosity, he supported schools and shelters while encouraging others to invest in the region’s future.
He died in 1885 and was interred at Ottawa Avenue Cemetery, where friends remembered him as a steady supporter of public improvement.
