William T. Magruder

Biography

William T. Magruder was born in 1829 and lived through the middle decades of the nineteenth century, passing away in 1863 at the age of 34. His brief life coincided with a tumultuous and defining period in American history.

Though his years were limited, Magruder's memory was preserved through his burial at Green Mount Cemetery. His life, though short, remains part of the historical fabric of his community and era.
