William Thomas Nicholson

Biography

Born in 1834, William Thomas Nicholson spent his life in Providence during a period of rapid change and civic growth. Though little is recorded about his profession, he was known among his peers for being a reliable neighbor and for taking comfort in the traditions that bound families together.

He died in 1893 and was interred at Swan Point Cemetery, leaving behind the dignity of a steady life lived in service to loved ones and the quiet routines of his home community.
