Biography

William W. Hannan built a reputation as a determined businessman whose real estate ventures helped shape the burgeoning neighborhoods of Detroit and provided homes and workplaces for a growing population.

He pursued his industry with a sense of civic duty, supporting cultural institutions and charitable causes, and when he passed he was laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery as a reminder of the stability he brought to his community.
