Yom-Tov Danon

Biography

Yom-Tov Danon (1741–1823) served as a rabbinic leader whose scholarship and piety provided strength to Jerusalem’s Jewish community in his era.

His grave on the Mount of Olives Jewish Cemetery marks the resting place of a man whose pursuit of holiness uplifted many.
