Biography
Yossef Gutfreund was an Israeli amateur wrestler who trained with dedication and represented his country with pride. He stood as a symbol of determination on the mat and embodied the spirit of Israeli athletics in the early 1970s.
His life was tragically cut short during the 1972 Munich Olympic Games, and he is remembered by family, teammates, and the nation he served; he was laid to rest at Har HaMenuchot.
