Biography

Ze'ev Sherf offered decades of service to the state as a lawyer, civil servant, and minister, overseeing budgets, housing, and the development of governmental institutions that could meet a rapidly growing population. His emphasis on fairness and deliberative planning helped stabilize the young republic's fiscal foundations.
