Biography
Zikmund Rosenfeld was born in 1851 and lived a long life spanning nearly nine decades. He was a member of the Brno Jewish community during a period of significant change, from the late Austro-Hungarian era through the establishment and development of Czechoslovakia.
He died in 1940, having witnessed the transformation of Jewish life in Central Europe. His memory is preserved in the Jewish cemetery in Brno, a place of remembrance for the community's members.
