Biography

Beniamin Anekshtain drew upon European training to meet the practical demands of the burgeoning Jewish settlements, designing buildings that brought comfort and dignity to residents as new neighborhoods rose around Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

He believed architecture should serve the people, attending to schools and community institutions so that the places he shaped would nurture generations after him.
