Biography

Ann Losh's long life spanned the late Georgian and early Victorian eras, and though little survives beyond the stone that bears her name, she is remembered for the steadiness with which she met the challenges of her age.

Her memory is kept at Old Calton Burial Ground, where friends and kin gathered to mark the closing of a household that witnessed momentous change.
