Biography

Ann Terry Greene Phillips balanced the demands of family with a generous heart for the wider Milton area, offering hospitality and support to neighbors in need throughout her long life. Her home became a gathering place where civic discussions, charity drives, and family celebrations could all find a warm welcome.

She also championed educational opportunities for young women, believing that every child deserved a chance to learn, and when she died in 1886 she was interred at Milton Cemetery, leaving behind a community strengthened by her kindness.
