Asa McFarland

Biography

Asa McFarland was a member of the Portsmouth community during the early years of American independence. He lived through the transformative period following the Revolution and contributed to the growth and development of the young nation.

McFarland's final resting place is at Old North Cemetery, where he was laid to rest in 1827. His life, spanning from 1769 to 1827, reflects the experiences of those who came of age during the founding of the United States.
