Bartlett Tripp

Biography

Bartlett Tripp (1839–1911) built a life of thoughtful public service as a jurist and diplomat, carrying the values of Yankton into every courtroom and foreign mission he attended.

Even after representing his country abroad, he returned home to share his love of the law and sound governance, leaving behind a legacy of fairness that endures at the municipal cemetery.
