Biography

Born in 1839, Benjamin F. Marsh became a dependable presence in Oakland, offering steady hands to neighbors as the region matured through the second half of the nineteenth century.

He remained rooted in the community and in 1905 passed into rest, his memory honored among the family plots of Oakland Cemetery.
