Benjamin Pierce

Biography

Benjamin Pierce (1841–1853) was a young child whose brief life occurred during the mid-nineteenth century. Born in 1841, he experienced only twelve years of life before his death in 1853, a poignant reminder of the challenges of childhood mortality in that era.

Pierce's memory is honored at Old North Cemetery, where he was laid to rest. Though his time on earth was brief, he remains a cherished part of his family's history and his community's past.
