Birkett D. Fry

Biography

Birkett D. Fry, born in 1822, served with honor and courage as a military officer, standing firm through the trials of conflict and inspiring confidence in those under his command.

He passed in 1891 and now rests at Oakwood Cemetery, where his bravery and sense of duty continue to be honored by descendants and fellow citizens alike.
