Biography

Carle Augustus Woodruff devoted decades to the nation as a career Army officer, his calm leadership and commitment to the soldiers under his command earning him respect across generations.

In retirement he continued to care for veterans and their families, and he is interred at Historic Oakwood Cemetery.
