Biography

Charles Frederick Webber (1825–1863) was a soldier who enlisted in service during the American Civil War, answering the call to preserve the Union during the nation's greatest crisis. At the Battle of Gettysburg in July 1863, Webber made the ultimate sacrifice, giving his life for the cause of national unity and freedom.
