Charles Livingston Hyde

Biography

Born in 1862, Charles Livingston Hyde came of age as Richmond rebuilt itself after the Civil War and remained a devoted member of his community, known to friends and family for his steadfast character during a period of great change.

Though few public records describe his occupation, the stories passed down recall a man who upheld the values of duty and kinship, and he rests at Hillside Cemetery alongside loved ones.
