Biography
Charles Louis Kades brought his legal mind to bear on the Army’s most consequential trials, helping to lay the foundation for accountability at Nuremberg and beyond. His work exemplified the faith that the rule of law must guide even the gravest of judgments.
After government service, he continued to teach and write about international law, leaving a legacy of ethical clarity before joining fellow patriots at Arlington National Cemetery.
